Responsibilities

– Lead the DevOps & Application Support team, including resource allocation, recruitment, OKRs Settings, and evaluating their performance appraisals.

– Ensure team competencies through providing guidance, coaching, and support when needed.

– Continuously and regularly update the internal SDKs, microservices & systems; tools and processes used by the team.

– Responsible for all system and service deployments on both non-production and production environments.

– Act as a project manager (a Scrum Master) to manage technical and DevOps projects.

– Coordinate and support both the local and regional team in resolving any blockers/concerns during project development and system deployments.

– Deliver the projects on time and with good quality.

– Other tasks as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

– Have at least a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field. A Master degree would be an advantage.

– Have at least 3 years of experience in DevOps; 1-2 years experience in Application Support: experience with Jenkins pipelines, Openshift, OKD, and/or Docker container platform; microservices development and deployment.

– Have at least 1-2 years in project management, preferably following the Scrum framework. Scrum Master certification would be a plus.

– Have experience leading a team of 2 members or more.

– Always keep oneself up-to-date with the latest technologies.

– Should be able to communicate well in English, both spoken and written, as the role will also communicate with the regional team.

– Should be a friendly, open-minded person who can be fast adapt in the emerging FinTech environment.
